Answer. Sarah McLachlan provides the voiceover for many ASPCA commercials, which use visuals of animals in need and melancholic music to evoke a strong emotional response and encourage donations.
And I think that ad generated like 30 million dollars for the ASPCA in two years, and it still gets played. But for as melancholy as they are to watch, the 55-year-old said the ads were anything but hard to film, as the only difficult part was getting her canine co-star to calm down.
