Jessie Eden is a major antagonist in Peaky Blinders, serving as the central antagonist of Season 4 and as a minor character in Season 5. She is an enigmatic union convener. She leads all-female factory workers in Birmingham out on strike protesting on the Bull Ring.
Although we don't see much of Jessie in season five, she attends Oswald Mosley's (Sam Clafin) rally to protest against his fascist rhetoric at Bingley Hall. However, she soon finds herself accidentally involved with the attempted assassination of Oswald.
In 1948, Eden married fellow communist party activist Walter McCulloch, and they stayed together until his death in 1978. McCulloch was a carpenter and CPGB member who oversaw the construction of the communist party's Star Social Club for the Midlands branch. Eden died in Birmingham on 27 September 1986.
Jessie actress Murphy explained how she will not be featuring in the upcoming season six, and she was done with her character. Speaking to Digital Spy, she said shooting the season five finale had been great fun and it seemed like a long time ago.
