He started a company called Gary Ewing Enterprises. A possible reconciliation with Val failed to materialise around this time, and Gary and Val eventually divorced for the second time. Gary also went on to buy a ranch, called Westfork. Gary soon married Abby, as she secretly started her own company, Apolune.
Knots Landing went off air in May 1993, 14 years after it debuted in December 1979 and captured audiences across the country. It followed the residents of a cul-de-sac in Knots Landing, a suburb of LA, where the characters engaged in scandalous lives including infidelity, rape, murder and more.
