The weekly series premiered on April 1, 2019, on CBS All Access, and was renewed for a second season halfway through its first set of 10 episodes. The second season was released in its entirety on June 25, 2020. In February 2021, the producers announced the series would not return for additional seasons.
The anthology from exec producers Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg has been canceled after a two-season run on the ViacomCBS-backed platform. Sources say Peele's and Kinberg's companies were both ready to walk away from the series, though CBS All Access/Paramount+ wanted the series to continue.
