Ratzenberger has continued to work with Lasseter, who produces all feature films and executive-produces all series at Skydance Animation. Ratzenberger voiced Rootie the bad luck root in Skydance Animation's first film, Luck (2022), and Caruncle the alien in the first season of the studio's first series, WondLa (2024).
Writer/producer Andrew Stanton said they had so much fun hanging out with him at the first Toy Story press junkets, they decided to work with him as much as possible in the future. And director Pete Docter just thinks Ratzenberger's vocal work is recognizable.
FiberCore and the Eco-Bedding product line have a rich and storied history. Developed in the early 1990's by John Ratzenberger, better known as Cliff Clavin on the TV show Cheers, Eco-Pak / Eco-Bedding was originally designed to be an environmentally friendly substitute for Styrofoam peanuts.

The wing became lodged under his car, resulting in a major crash – one recorded at 500G – as he slammed into the outside wall at the Villeneuve corner. Ratzenberger suffered a basilar skull fracture and was killed instantly on impact.
