In 2018, Johnston played Ivy-Rae in the BBC drama series, Age Before Beauty and in August 2019, she played Joan in the second series of Hold the Sunset. In 2021, she appeared in the TV film, Help. In 2022, she appeared in the Channel 5 series Witness Number 3.
