In the 10th and final season of DOC MARTIN, a year has passed since Martin (Martin Clunes) resigned his medical license, and his wife, Louisa (Caroline Catz), is now the one seeing patients in her new career change as a child counselor, while he looks after their two young children.
Casting director, Carrie Hilton, died after a battle with cancer in 2007. In honour of their beloved colleague, show bosses dedicated the third series of the show to her memory. At the end of episodes in this series, a statement would appear on screen, stating: This series is dedicated to Carrie Hilton 1969-2007.
The episode ends with Martin proposing to Louisa, telling her he can't imagine life without her. She immediately accepts his proposal.
The blonde-haired receptionist was known for her incompetence and for spending too much time on the phone. She appeared in six episodes before being replaced by Pauline (Katherine Parkinson).
