Naomie Melanie Harris (September 6, 1976 in London) is an English actress. She portrayed Tia Dalma/Calypso in Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, and, while not taking a huge role, lending her voice in the making of On Stranger Tides.
British actress Naomie Harris was born in London, England, the only child of television scriptwriter Lisselle Kayla. Her father is from Trinidad and her mother is from Jamaica. They separated before she was born, and Harris was raised by her mother and has no relationship with her father.
Calypso, in Greek mythology, the daughter of the Titan Atlas (or Oceanus or Nereus), a nymph of the mythical island of Ogygia.
