Rakhee Gulzar, is an Indian film actress, made her movie debut with Bandhu Baran in 1967. She also worked on films like Daag (1973), Tapasya (1976), Kabhi Kabhi (1976), Doosra Aadmi (1977), Trishul (1978), Kaala Patthar (1979) and Shakti (1982). She has won many awards including a Padma Shri and National Film Award.
She is married to businessman Govind Sandhu who is the co-founder and CFO of Antworks Pte. Ltd. They have a son from their marriage named Samay. Meghna started her filmmaking career as an assistant to director Saaed Mirza and later her father Gulzar in films Maachis (1996) and Hu Tu Tu (1999).
Meghna Gulzar, the couple's daughter, is also a Bollywood film director. Rakhee presently lives as a recluse in Mumbai, doing the things she adores – reading books, caring for pets, and nurturing plants in her sprawling farmhouse, that is accessible to the public.
Raakhee made her film debut with the Bengali film Badhu Bharan (1967). She had her first Hindi film with Jeevan Mrityu (1970).
