FAQs
Most cabins -- 81% -- have balconies, although on Celebrity's Edge-class ships, these are Infinite Verandas, with a window that comes down and forms more of a sunroom, as opposed to an actual step-out balcony.
Even on smaller, more luxurious ships that don't feel crowded, a balcony is desirable; if the weather is such that you can spend a lot of time on your balcony, it's like having an additional room.
If you're after views, the best room on a cruise ship will be a balcony cabin at the ship's rear end. Aft balcony accommodations at the ship's corners are also the largest and often give more outside area than conventional balcony cabins, allowing you to enjoy both the beautiful views and the extra space.
Category E2 - Edge Stateroom with Infinite Veranda.
What are the Celebrity Edge Balcony staterooms like? You'll find a limited number of true balcony staterooms on Edge, in two categories: Deluxe (202 square feet with a 40-square-foot balcony) and Sunset Veranda (228 square feet with an 89-square-foot balcony).
